About Dr Saima Ahmad
Dr Saima Ahmad is an experienced adult and paediatric interventional neuroradiologist and phlebologist with over 15 years’ experience in academic and private hospital settings. She specialises in endovascular neurosurgery and minimally invasive neurointerventional procedures for vascular disorders of the brain and spine.
Dr Saima holds several professional qualifications, including the International Master’s Degree Course in Neurovascular Diseases (PLANET), the European Diploma in Ischaemic Stroke Intervention (EDSI) and the European Diploma in Neurointervention (EDNI).
Prior to joining Farooq Hospital Group as Chief Neurointerventionalist (Interventional Neuroradiology — Brain & Spine, Adult & Paediatric) and Phlebologist, she practised neurointervention at Lahore General Hospital, the largest public hospital in the region, where she treated neurovascular patients from across the country for over a decade.
She has some initial training in neurosurgery and is a qualified diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology. Her clinical expertise includes vascular and endovascular neurointerventions, paediatric neurointerventions and phlebology.

About Dr.Adeel Riaz
Dr. Adeel Riaz graduated from Rawalpindi medical college in 2008 and completed his first post graduate qualification in radiology i.e DMRD in 2013 from post graduate medical institute Lahore. After competing his DMRD he joined diagnostic radiology department of CH & ICH Lahore for fellowship in radiology . He completed his FCPS training which was his 2nd postgraduate qualification in 2018.
He is a qualified radiologist and is registered with PMDC.
Since 2010 he is working in diagnostic radiology and has served in Lahore general hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi ,Mayo Hospital Lahore and CH & ICH Lahore.
He is member of radiology society Pakistan(RSP) & Paediatric radiology society Pakistan(PRSP)
Having experience in both adult and paediatric radiology he is integral part of our consultant panel at Ilyas Medicare & Diagnostic Centre.
